Terms of use

Effective May 1, 2026

Scope

These terms govern use of the Zippytal Projects CRM at projects.zippytal.com. Use of the wider Zippytal ecosystem — your account, the login session, paid services, node operation — is governed by the parent zippytal.com terms of use, which apply alongside this notice. Where the two conflict on a CRM-specific point, this notice controls.

Account types

The CRM supports three account types:

  • Super-admin — manages the workspace, every project, and grants editor access to clients.
  • Business-admin — runs the projects they create and the ones they're invited into.
  • Project client — invited into specific projects. By default a client has read access; a super-admin or project creator can grant editor access on a per-project basis.

Acceptable use

On top of the rules in the parent terms, you also agree to use the CRM only for projects you have authority to manage. Don't invite clients into projects that aren't yours; don't impersonate another client when using the client portal; don't use the documentation tab to host content unrelated to the project it lives in.

Content and ownership

Admins (super-admins or business-admins) own the projects they create. Clients own the items they create themselves within a project — tasks they file, comments they post, attachments they upload. Deletion follows that ownership:

  • Admins can delete any item in projects they manage, including client-created items.
  • Clients can only delete items they themselves created. They cannot delete admin-created items, even with editor access on the project.

Granting a license to host your content works the same as in the parent terms.

Third-party integrations

When you connect Google Calendar from the calendar tab, Google's terms and privacy policy apply alongside ours. We send only what we need to push and pull events on the calendar you authorised. Disconnecting from the calendar tab ends the integration; the stored tokens are dropped.

Service availability

The CRM is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no uptime SLA on the free tier; planned and unplanned downtime can happen. Paid engagements that depend on the CRM may include availability commitments — those live in their own engagement letters.

Disclaimers and liability

The disclaimers and limitation-of-liability section in the parent zippytal.com terms apply to use of the CRM as well.

Changes

We'll update the "Effective" date at the top whenever we change these terms. For material changes we'll notify project owners by email before they take effect.
